We have some exciting news here at Jeep Action. We have recently managed to secure a very rare Jeep in Australia. JU1 was part of an Army Trial programme which we have featured before in Jeep Action and you will be able to catch up with your Jeep history again this issue. The Aussie J10s (CJ 10) are rare enough both here in Australia and on the world stage so having one of only three J10s adapted for military trials is a real gem. See page 26 for the story.
Australia does have its own colourful Jeep history and some unique models have evolved from within. From Ford powered CJ s, to the very unique and Aussie designed CJ 6 Overlander and dual cab J20s to name a few. We have featured these rare Aussie Jeeps over our 12 years of publication and will be sure to cover them again over time. There are always new photos, shed finds and pieces of history to piece the jigsaw
puzzle together. JU1 is a prime example of this.
Enjoy your July/August issue.
