..I guess with soldiering iron applied to , aspirin tablet underneath, laquered wire in the middle, solder iron tip on top...? Old school.

Try to adjust the scope to 10ms/division (time) and 100mv/division (volts) maybe it will show you a clearer signal . This way it filters a bit more from the garbage.
It should have the pulses at a sort of regular time intervals (at idle ). In your scope picture it seems to be some garbage in between 2 pulses.
Also the pulses should have pretty much the same shape and vertical size.

thanks for putting together i used this last night and today to take two broken no1 injectors into 1 good one. hopefully it goes ok as its going in the car tomorrow. i also have been looking into getting more copper wire to respool the sensor, i counted ~883 turns of thin copper wire on that bad boy (.08 mm from memory). If those sensors can be rebuilt i wont need to hunt for a no1 again!

Default Leaking injector 1

I am amazed by all the knowledge people have

I have one question regarding injector 1. On my 1999 XJ there is a small leak in the injector. Between the two halfes. I could not see from the pictures if there is a copper washer, or any other sealant there.

Any suggestions of how to sort the leak?

done it some time ago but can't remember seeing any copper washer except the one that's on the end that screws in to the block .
I think it was just a very tight fit but definetly no sealant .
