New AEV snorkel, and AEV control arms to correct lift geometry (installed by murchison). + Finally found a hardtop.

drove daniels point rd at the wattagans today and had a blast. great weather, good friends, mud holes and rock steps - what more can you ask for ?

I'd been trying different ways of carrying the maxtracks using straps on the rear tyre....secure enough, but time consuming to dismount/remount, and you need a second set of hands pretty much.
I don't want to carry these inside the Jeep....its a 2 door, and besides there being little room, who wants filthy maxtracks inside their car?
Anyway....I was surfing around looking for ideas and noticed that Maxtracks themselves had come up with a carrier. Pretty good value, I think I got it for $89 off an Ebay store. Easy to set up, quick to remove the tracks and refit....it has a gear bag attached to the hooks as well.

I've actually got the top retaining hooks in the wrong spot on that pic....the ratchet needs to sit behind the tyre and the hooks attach to the handles up higher.
Hey, first time trial fit, lol.....

You'll find it to be an excellent bash plate mate, good for bouncing up on ruts
Where did you get the replacement for your clevis hook?
