Freight cost me $200 with USAtoAUS. John @ White Knuckle organised it all and was great to deal with. After that you'll need to pay GST on the total cost to USAtoAUS when it docks.

They pick up on the bolt that holds the auto skid plate but after that all other holes need to be drilled. I'll not lie, drilling the chassis isn't any fun. The good news in terms of strength (and the bad news for your shoulders) is that it's fixed to chassis at what appear to be it's thickest points. In some cases it must be over 10mm thick! They're absolutely solid now that they're fixed up though. There's no movement in them at all.

Where did you get the side steps from bud?

Added Teraflex spare wheel carrier and tailgate hinge to eliminate the rattle that I'd developed in the tailgate. Still don't know what was rattling but the Terflex kit stopped it and is an amazingly solid piece of kit.
Also fitted a MOPAR tow bar and re-jigged the wiring loom to allow it to extend up to the spare mounted license plate holder that comes with the Teraflex tyre carrier.

Now just got to wire up some spot light on the rear and fit them to the number plate holder.

Also just added some White Knuckle Off Road side steps.

I wanted something that gives full coverage to protect the side of the car and was still able to be used as a good step for the vertically challenged. These seemed to fit the bill and they're solid so no fear of bending these up into the bodywork like I did with the stock plastic steps. They also do an option of flat or 20˚ angle so I chose the 20˚ angle version to help with the clearance. Even flat they're still up higher than the chassis rails though. If I had one criticism after looking at these photos it that I would probably have preferred a textured powder coat but I can always spray them with a ute liner spray or something to get rid of the shine (and hide the scratches once I start to use them off road!). I fitted them with some Bushwacker sill protection covers that I've had in the garage for a couple of years now.

White Knuckle Off Road (white-knuckleoffroad.com). It's a guy in the states (John) that specialises in making step/sliders for various makes/models. Great to deal with, good quality and everything lines up OK (unlike the Smittybilt ones I tried before hand).

Tried Jeep Dealer, its not a part they could find a P/N for?
Auto Barn / Repco / Burson etc no luck either.

They are apparently an M6 bolt, so you could use a normal M6 and a washer. Or here is a push on, hand screw off Toyota version that could do the job. Clips and Fasteners

Thanks for the detailed information mate, I REALLY like these!! I'm not too sure if you can drill or weld to the chassis in Victoria, so something I'll have to discuss with Vicroads to confirm to keep the insurance company happy.

Sounds like USAtoAUS is a great company to deal with, I'm yet to hear a bad thing about them!! One thing I've always wondered, did you have to go to the ports to pick them up, or did another freight company send them to your door?

The only problem with usa to aus is the mob they use here in melbourne for customs. Cheetah imports in lilydale are ********en useless and because of this I will never use them again. I used to use cheetah and brought in containers every 8 weeks from the states. With all the bullshit and lies from kevin who owns cheetah and the lost abd damaged items, his daughter now runs the office in lilysale while kevin is based in the states. If you are in any other state of aus usa to aus are great but for us in melbourne your stuck with cheetah so take your chances and hope you dont get shafted, I now use Midwest Imports and have never had a problem. Any one after contact details let me know
