Default Upgrading to a 2011 wrangler ?

Hi guys im from the cherokee kk section . Im conisdering buying a wrangler 2011 unlimited sports diesel. My mates are trying to convince me to get a 2008 prado. How do you guys go with your jk's
Any advice would be apprecited. I know my kk petrol guzzled fuel so i added a gas tank. How many kms do you get from a full tank of diesel and how does it handle in offroad conditions. I just came back from billy goats bluff and my poor girl struggled a bit.

Heres a pic of my kk

Thanks in advance

I was looking for a 110 defender but the mrs wanted a discovery, we found the Jeep for a good price and I'm so glad we did! Best car i've ever had.

Mine is pretty stacked with extras but even still, I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Mine has a remapped ECU and she goes for a big old heavy lump on 32's. Auto too. I've driven my mates manual and despite the 6th gear being a nice touch I'd still take my auto.

Off road its a breeze. We went to Brindabella a few weeks ago and you don't even realise how effortlessly it does stuff until you watch others struggle.

I would tell anyone to buy one. And they are so customisable too. Good luck in your search mate

I own a 2011 JKU petrol and love it. Like StuieG, I was looking for a Defender or Troopy but wasn't prepared to pay the ridiculous prices they were asking for them.

I bought an old TJ as a bush basher not expecting much and absolutely fell in love with it. I then bought the JK and now can't see me in anything else. That is until the JL ute comes out.

They aren't pretty, fast or comfortable but they go anywhere.
