Yeh, I would like to test drive both diesel and petrol before making up my mind 100%. The 2.8L CRD is a great little engine from what I have heard, I have driven a CRD cherokee with the same powerplant & was quite impressed.

3.8L V6 = 146kW @ 5000rpm / 315Nm @ 4000rpm

2.8L I4 CRD = 130kW @ 3800rpm / 410Nm @ 2000 - 2600rpm

We'll have to wait and see...

from what i was told its not the engine out of the cherokee (maybe wrong)

I am trying to get the wife to let me trade in her pug 206cc on the Rubicon Unlimited oil burner. Still a soft top/convertible but 4 real seats and I can take it offroad.

Negotiations are still not that sucessfull!!!
