Yes they are down that way.
I have a jk and my mate had a wh grand what I bought off him. We both had the tunes done to our cars at the same time. We both have removed the tunes from our vehicle wh grand tune made the vehicle run hotter by over fueling. And fuel economy out the window.
My jk was to over fueling put your boot in it and heaps of black smoke out the back but didn't run to much hotter. They said the tune would disable the egr but is wasn't deleted.
I know this as I got the jk retuned by another company and when he hooked it up to his computer he had a look at the tune and it was way out of spec Afr were all wrong and that's when he said the egr was still operating.
Now the tune I have now on the jk is good, no smoke out the back when I boot it.But fuel economy is not that great but it goes well . plenty of low downpower but nothing up the top end .
Wh I have left it with no tune
So moral of the story be careful the tunes if you are going to get one.

I wouldn't have it any other way mate. The ride and handling of the WK2 is light years ahead of my old WJ (Wobbly Jeep). Truth is, no matter how hard core you think you are....most of the Jeep's life will be on road not off. Blokes looking for a rock crawler won't be looking at a WK2.

You wont get any more wheel travel out of a WK2....

The limiting factors, as with all independent suspension are:
*stabiliser bars.
*upper control arms.

Daz

I think you will find that the top out issues have been resolved and are more of an issue in the petrol wk2 than the diesels. I spent months researching the available options and ended up with the Murchison lift and cannot be happier. I use my Jeep off road a fair bit as well. If you end up going down the Murchison route and need an intall in Sydney message me and I can put you in contact with who did mine.

Hi Guys
wow this thread really prompted some discussion. I have had the bullbar, winch and OME lift kit fitted, fantastic job, really happy with the outcome and I love the way it feels on the road. bit of a test today, going to head to Kroombit tops national park. I bottomed out last time I went so we'll see how it goes today. BIG shout out to stay on track here in Gladstone, they did the fit and did a really good job, took their time and made sure they got it right.

Looks great, how do you find the on road ride? Interested to hear your comments after taking off road
