Default JKU rear seat in CJ8

Now I'm Jeepless I'm looking at a few other options.

I'm floating the idea of putting a rear JKU seat in the rear of a CJ8, wondering if anyone has any ideas or experience with this.

Would be pretty tight fit between the wheel arches, I know I couldn't find anything to fit my 7 and just got the right one from the states

Would be easier to put a bench seat in the front for 5 seats, them wheel wells in the back are to big to get anything in the back, I think only Suzuki vintara seats may fit

Im about to put a 81 bronco rear seat in the back of my 8. Need to modify the wheel arches but it will just fit between the rollbar. Its a 3 seater seat.

Default CJ8 Rear seat

Hi Guys,
I know this is quite a while ago but did any of you have any luck with a rear seat for your 8? Looking to something in an 8 too, and was it any issue to get Approved?

Cheers
