Cant think or anything else.

I had wished rhino rack has a backbone for wk2.

If you have looked at the Rhino Backbones, they only use the OEM mounts anyway and don’t add anything more. Possibly a bit more stiffening than individual mounts I guess but no extra load rating. I have looked at them on a number of makes and models, and decided they are all about looks rather than any practical function.

At least with the feet on my pioneer at the moment, it is quick and easy to remove the rack when not in use.

Hi Imaz,
How hard was it to get to roof lining off, any damage in the process, i've done the same to one of my rivnuts whilst getting the rust out before putting on my pioneer rack!

Chiefs said this in an email to me today.

Yes, we’ve taken a very close look at Jeep’s design for the roof and those rivet nuts in the roof. I plan to release a blog post that outlines our whole development process for the WK2 Roof Rack. We definitely learned some interesting stuff through the process.

We’re planning to release our mounting rails, so that customers like yourself can use them with their existing roof rack. Creating compatibility with numerous other products can be tough, but we’re going to have a crack at it.

Cheers,
Bill

If I had to voice out, things I'd also look for in a roof rack other than how its mounted is accessories mounting options. How to mount lights, shovel etc.

Looking at photos of Uneek or Gobi, do they even sell specific mounting brackets for accessories??
