New engine mount arrived today and fitted this arvo. Not a hard job with a hand. Old one was completely shagged.
Did anyone have to "persuade" one of the aircon lines to the air con compressor out of the way to get the through bolt out? The bolt head was facing towards the front. Perhaps the mount has been replaced in the past and the bolt has been put back in back to front? Had to kind of lever my aircon line out of the wayto get it out just a little.
All good to go beach fishin saturday!

Started the XJ today, after it been sitting nose-down on the drive way for 7 weeks while I was overseas (remember the nose-up or nose-down question?).
Anyway, thought my batt was on the way out and not able to hold a charge, but surprisingly it still read 12.46 when I hooked it back up after all that time. Primed the fuel line 2-3 times and turned the key. It gave one deep slow crank, like you have when your batt is too low, made a sound like a drill getting stuck, half second of silence and...fired up! Like I'd woken some beast from hibernation haha.
Back in business!

Might be the photo but the calliper slide looks awfully close the the hub of the rotor! I'm sure it will self clearance are you running early or late model unit bearings? As far as I can remember the late models are a little wider which Will affect the length of the spacers. sign me up for a kit!
