That was just plain old stupid. There was no need to go through the Center in the first place given that its a lake and just by looking at the dune structures around it you know there will be a gutter at the base of the opposite bank. He was not really reading the lay of the land.
I would also hate to put on my green hat but it does seem a little inconsiderate to go contaminating the lake with his oils and crap when he could have gone around. I am all for ripping up one section of the track if you need to get through but to just do something like this for kicks is why so many organisations want to lock up the tracks. Sorry for the rant and I am sure my opinion is contrary to everyone else's.
