Cool 1st Jeep and my first 4WD

Hi guys,

Finally after saving and researching for almost a year I've bought myself a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport! It only has 20K on the clock and still has the new car smell. Has the 3.6l Pentastar and 5 spd auto. I have big plans for it in the future to build it up for offroading and touring. Probably won't do too many serious mods till March as I'm heading to Hawaii for most of Feb and need some spending money
So far have only had a morning up at Mt Mee but it's only been under 2 weeks since I bought it.

Welcome aboard. You will surely have a lot of fun with it. Theres lots to read about modifications and mechanical help in the different sections, but my advice is get some off road driver training before you go out and break something out bush. Hook up with a local 4WD club where available and pick their brains before spending money on things you might not need. Enjoy Hawaii

Thanks mate. There’s tonnes of info on here to go through. Offroad training is definitely something I’ll organize when I’m ready for a few mods and off-road time. There’s a training place not too far away that can offer bush and beach training.
Cheers!
