First outing with the 32" tires showed that either my transmission is tired or the trans cooler is not up to the task, as I saw 102*C transmission temperature in low range, in sub-zero temperatures.

So I looked around, Mercedes switched to separate transmission radiators sometimes in 2005-2006, with an 85*C thermostat. This is one of the biggest, from a Vito I think:

Maybe the stock transmission cooling is not the best anyway. My car originally lived over in the deserts of Aus. The previous owner had also fitted an additional transmission cooler. Not as big as yours, but still reasonable.

Either way, I'd say your new cooler should do the trick, it is a beast.

Edit. Hmmm, maybe not. Just noticed the same cooler on your car behind your new one. I've never followed the lines and just assumed it was for the transmission. Guess I will check that out later.

Up to and including 2003 the power steering cooler was a separate unit, the one on the right side of the car. In 2004 it was changed to be part of the A/C condenser.
My 2004 must be some late 2003 built, so it has the separate P/S cooler.

D44 high pinion pumpkin arrived a couple of weeks ago:



76x12.5mm tubes. The factory JK 44 63.5x6.3mm tubes seem tiny in comparison.

Very weird to see that setup on a 2005. Maybe it was involved in a minor accident and all they could find was that setup? Or maybe for RHD models they never changed the setup?
