Working out the track details today. We don't have to by-pass Heyfield which should help some of the stockers with fuel load.
We will need to start early on Saturday however. 4 fordings in the equation here as well. But should be shallow with a bit of luck...

JOCV will be doing this in late February as a club trip. The forum trip in May, may be a bit more interesting with rain etc.

Sounds like a plan Oz Jeeper, although I haven't been in their for 3 years or more I have been told its more like a Hwy now compared to 12 years ago (or more) when I first started going in there, mind you I would be going in via the Abbeyyard / Yarrabulla track from Bright, I'll be self sufficiant for fuel.


Either way its an excellent trip for all grades of driver and all 4x4 vehicles. As for the fording depths, all the rivers around here (North East Vic) are slightly higher than usual for this time of year, so no doubt the Wonongatta River and others up there will be too, so be cautious.

Count me in, if I'm still living in the area.
