basically a couple of days hanging out at the beach, canoeing on the lake, doing some real easy tracks, doing some beach driving etc etc

The camp site has toilets, hot showers, washing machines, a shop, telephone, fire pits and bins.

You can choose to camp near the lake or back a little in the open areas.
Every time Sam and I have camped there we have woken to find 10 or 20 kangaroo's lazing about the camp site.

It's a very nice place to camp, especially for those of you with kids. I'll have to ring and book in case it's a little crowded which hopefully it won't be as we're aiming for monday-friday so it's not on the weekend and not too crowded.

You'll need to allow $7 per person per night (this includes all the toilets, drinking water and hot showers you could want) and a few dollars for the ferry ($5) if we go that way to the beach (15mins). Otherwise we'll drive the Cooloola Way (50mins).

If you have a tinnie or boat i'm sure you can bring it to elanda as they have a boat ramp for those who want to get out on the lake/river for some fishing.
