Default XJ Extracting a car from a salt lake

After reading about that bogged JGC near Esperance recently, I came across this video.

Just before the 11 minute mark, watch the XJ go head to head on the salt flats with a manual Toyota (Tacoma?). There is something to be said about the XJ 4.0L Automatic.

This guys Utube channel is so entertaining And some of the places he takes that banana Jeep would scare the hairiest of the blue singlet brigade.
Shows that you don’t need a diesel to do serious Wheeling.

He made his own suspension himself. His friends call him junky because he makes everything out of junk pile. He has lots of vids and in one of them he shows and describes the suspension build.
