Fitted new fuel pressure regulator. Had a problem some might be interested in, Jeep all of a sudden became very hard to start and when finnally fired, was very rough idle, had me tearing my hair out for most of the weekend, thought since it was doing same wether on petrol or lpg was most likely electrical but checked all vacume lines, did compression test on all cylinders, changed fuel filter, spark plugs, leads, fitted new CPS sensor, Jeep had new fuel pump about 2 monthes ago. Decided to go over to my brothers and start swapping stuff over from his 96 Grand Cherokee, first the idle motor thing on the throttle body, then his coil, neither of which made any difference, was going to try his distributor as well but was fiddling with a vacume line that came off this little thing on the end of the fuel rail (didn't know at the time it was a fuel regulator) anyway there was fuel running out of it, putting my finger on it wasn't enough to stop it so there was quite some pressure, dumping fuel into number one and two cylinders would help explain the rough idle and also the fact the spark plugs in those cylinders were black.
Anyway after some swearing, skin missing, burns up my arm from changing the cps while engine still hot, all is well again.
