DuffyLovemallet, this is a good photo. I'm thinking the same tyre size and a 16x8 5" aswell.

Do you know the BS on the standard 17"

hey adrian, no freakin' idea on the std rims, sorry. maybe have a look at the back of them. otherwise pm the all knowing, all seeing Gravel. he knows his stuff. just a thought though, i am actually kicking myself for going the 5" bs on 33's. i should have gone the 4.25" with 35s, so be sure before you commit the $$'s.

First photo is before the lift...

2" mopar lift (you can see a bit of the silver shock) with standard tyres...

Photos are from dealers mobile phone... will take more over the weekend of the shocks... they are not stamped mopar and are silver, but are from Jeep direct...

I have the old gear in the boot

[QUOTE=Gravel;1090240]I was of the understanding that the brake callipers increased in size half way through 2008 and if this is the case you may be out of luck with the stock 16's... there too narrow anyways at just 7"wide and the only 33's you can fit are either MT MTZ Like I have and still rub or go for BGF KM2's in 255x85R16.

checked the fittment this afternoon and they clear but only by a few (mm)
i was looking at fitting 256/75s because they are similar sized to the stock wranglers, do you rekon theyl fit without scrubing?

Default Looking for photos of 3.5 inch lift with 33" tyres

Hi,
Has anyone out there got an AEV 3.5" lift with 33" tyres on an Unlimited, have tried searching on the net but am having no luck as most people in the US put 35" tyres on with this lift. I am keen on this lift but don't think my insurance will let me run 35's, so want to see how 33's will look.
Cheers.

A local guy here has a unlimited with that kit & 33's, the lift looks very similar to my jk with a oem lift & 33's, imo it suits the jk, the 33's dont look out of place & you dont haver to worry about being looked at by the fun police
