Bluetooth is the way to go. Did you already send the order?

Fun little fact, I bought an interface once and met up with the guy who runs the online shop. He lives 5kms away from me

No order placed yet. Need one that works with Apple or I'll have to drag my PC desktop down and set it up in the car.

It would have to be a Wi-Fi unit and you would need the iOS application.
If you can't get ahold of someone with an Android phone you are stuck to a USB or Bluetooth (I've found the USB version to be more reliable in this situation) ELM327 and a Windows laptop.
