Falken wildpeak AT3’s tyres 275 65 18’s
Hi All, looking at buying a set of the new Falken Wildpeak AT3 tyres for my 2017 Laredo with QL. Anyone running them, would love to here your thoughts. And will a 275 65 18 definitely fit?
Cheers
Darryn

Yes to fitting your car.
Noons from the Garage fitted a set in the early days when there were fewer options around. I recall his impressions that were good given the price, however I don't think he got the life out of them... well, that he expected anyway. I have a faint memory that they became a bit slippery or noisy early too? I know he didn't fit them again.
Google with his nickname... he's in a few groups.
Cheers, Steve

I cant find much on these new design AT3 versions, they're different compound etc to the older ones!!! might just bite the bullet.

Hey boys
As Steve said, they weren't my favourites.
Tread looks deep in the center but on the outer edge (2 inchs or so) are deceivingly shallow. It's a strange design.
I only got about 30-40k out of them and swapped them out because they got really noisy and dangerous in the wet.
I'm running Hankook Dynapro ATM's now and are much better. Longer life already and still pretty quiet.
275/65/18's do generally fit.

Were yours the near AT3w’s Noon? Just priced them up and $299ea for 275 65 18’s is pretty tempting.

Mine were the AT02's.
The AT3's have a much different tread pattern. So can't really give an opinion on those.
From the pictures, they do look more aggressive.
