Re the Provent, it depends on how you drive, how many kilometres you do between drain cycles, and whether you fit a drain hose and valve or just a plug. I collect about a half a cup every 5000km. I have a drain hose fitted with a valve on it and just drain it out a hose hanging down under the KJ.

Wow. Scary. 140000km with no Provent. Thats a lot of sludge in my KJ. What causes it? Is it a design fault?
