Onwards rang the All grand Cherokee guy bought a Throttle body and an oil cooler I have been wanting to change nothing to do with the present problem.
Auto electrician could not find a sensor fault but that afternoon when I was driving to a place I turned after accelerating off the start then backing off the same crappy code P1061B again.
Went to my mechanic today he cleaned the inside of the throttle body behind the hose and he also ordered a nee MAF sensor that arrives next Monday with the others so will be changed the MAF and the Throttle body hoping this clears up my fault. All grand believes it will be the throttle body so hope he’s right.
Since the throttle body clean this morning it has no more rough idle at the moment.
So until next week.

Yes Drover
Waiting for parts now yesterday it did something different after stopping turning the car off going away for about five minutes and coming back I proceeded to start the car, but it did take about 10 seconds before starting I was starting to think the battery had died but it started reving higher than normal for about 5 seconds then idled perfectly. It’s very annoying not knowing what’s going on.
Hoping these new parts stop this
Drove it today no issues at all.

I was watching a US You Tube video the other day with a fellow giving his opinions on issues encountered with his JGC.

Mentioned was the issue of computer generated errors that often don't make any sense, and at times will just clear themselves, or take a reboot of the system to get rid of.

It certainly appears to be a weakness with Chrysler Jeep, too many sensors that don't always communicate in a logical consistent fashion with the ECU's.

His comments which i agree with is that mechanically the Jeeps are pretty good, will take a proper bashing very rarely letting you down or not getting you home.

Over the years I have owned 6 Jeeps from my first a CJ5, then to a CJ7, to an XJ, to a WJ, then WH and now a WK2. Not ever have any not got me home or out of a situation. I have limped home once or twice yes, but always pulled in to my driveway under their own power.

Hope you get the issue sorted...

Just than one bit of dry solder can throw a million problems................ One thing sounds like air flow/pressure sensors, then it sounds like fuel pump/filter drama then it could be a faulty speed sensor, or all of them in unison, I would be going nuts, or my shed floor would be covered in bits as I stripped the thing down............... certainly hope these bits sort if out, the throttle body has me intrigued as its only a butterfly valve and temp sensor but if the valve is floating on the shaft or the motor is stuffed that would cause problems for sure, one of my checks would be to take the flap off and then see what happens, I think its really only for the epoxy EGR rubbish, not at all like early diesels as its not a throttle at all..... somebody had that problem earlier ????

Don't forget to check the MAP sensor.
ive had a few of those symptoms after getting the "Service Electronic Throttle Control" come up on the EVIC, including the engine light.
Tracked it to the MAP sensor which I cleaned about 3 times and fault code wouldn't go away.
Finally got a S/H unit from a wreckers, cleaned and fitted. Cleared code and problem fixed.

So still waiting to fit the new MAF and a throttle body other things it has started doing with no faults showing is sometimes when starting it hesitates before starting then ideas high like 1200rpm then after a few minutes goes back to idle at around 700rpm.
Other thing it does less frequently is if you pull up at the traffic lights while your foot is on the brake it feels like a shudder like it wants to move forward then settles.

I am starting to lean towards the torque converter.
These problems have all arisen since it went to jeep for the tone wheel recall. Regrettably
