As an aside, after 5 months, I could not be happier with this rack.

It’s just so versatile, and though they are expensive for what they are, I love the front runner brand accessories. I have the gas bottle bracket, a shower arm and of course a bunch of ring nuts.

I use it regularly and feel like it was great value.

Recently I took the wife and kids camping at shallow crossing near nelligen. On the roof I had my awning, rv5 tent and a Kong’s waterproof bag brimming with pillows, clothes etc. in hindsight I may have been over the weight limit a tad but it performed beautifully.

You name it, frontrunner has thought of an accessory for it. After sales service is very good too.

Now, the only problem is that that trip made me feel like I want a camper trailer!

Once I finished unloading it when I got home, realized I had forgotten to record the evidence!

Did you remove the metal rails for this rack? Anyone have any pics of what it looks like on? The website only has two pretty crappy pics, I like the rack but want to see how it's actually mounted, I can remove my rails but the screw holes aren't flat they stick up from the rood about 5/10mm so not sure how it would look sitting on those.
