anyone know where I can purchase some Desert Sand flat paint.

looking at painting an ex army trailer and Jerry cans in the original desert colours as used at Tobruk during WWII

Any automotive paint shop will be able to match if you have a pic or sample, then they will add flatting base to it to kill the sheen a bit.
(buy a half decent brand tho)

You could also contact someone like Marathon Motors in Tamworth, probably the biggest supplier of MB Willys and Ford Military jeep parts in Aus, or contact the military jeep club and ask for the paint code or details.

think youll find those jeeps z force(sas) had. where painted light pink and then had sand chucked over the top before it dryed.

Very cool bit of info, paint finishes, camo and what makes them work are sometimes amazing in their simplicity- if you want to look like sand, use sand!
