I had mine finally fixed about 7 months ago. I ended up taking it to another dealer after taking it back to the same dealer 5 times regarding this chirp. The other dealer agreed straight away it was water pump. I had to wait for 2 weeks while they ordered the part and after it was installed, the chirp stopped and it hasn't come back since.
Ah well. Nothing major really. I ended up with a new tensioner, idle pulley, belt and alternator out of the exercise. It was frustrating at the time when I kept mentioning the water pump to the original dealer but kept on telling me it was something different. As it turned out, with help from this thread, it was the water pump.

As I said above, once the water pump was finally replaced in mine, the problem was solved. I haven't had any issue since. Overall, it is only a minor problem but because many of the dealers have no idea, it can be a frustrating run around until it is finally replaced.
