Oil change & filter, then fixed a slow leak in a front tyre. 3 leaks in 3 weeks.
EGT sensor playing up, may need a replacement.

Hi Anthony,

Plugs are Accel 736. leads 8mm Accel as well. Seeing that my XJ had stock leads and a very worn dizzy cap and rotor on it, I am sure anything new would have been an improvement, but after fitting this kit it starts every single time, seems to idle smoother and feels way more crisp while driving.

And here is the link as it was the best price I could find. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/400697634...84.m1439.l2649

Hope this helped.

Got around pulling the tranny lines off as both are two thirds flattened at the same spot... I bought this paticular jeep with a broken engine mount. That'd be why they're dented...trans fluids burnt and trans doesn't like to wake up and power forward in drive some mornings...hope the parti oil change and new lines stop it getting worse or make it run happyer.

On another note...put a change over second hand auto in my mud truck and that auto doesn't like taking off in drive. But its fine in first. Auto has 250,000 is on it so not totally surprised it needs work. Still better than the one I swapped out which lost second gear.

Put a secondhand trans case in my mud truck and it has a slightly less wobbly front output. Have to crack open the old box n see why its wobbly...

My 300.000 plus tranny had similar problems in drive/OD, fitted 3 new solenoids for $85 and shifts like brand new!
