Default Track Bar Bolt

I have done something incredibly stupid. Have had some front suspension wobbles and thinking my track bar may need tightening.....yep I snapp the bolt when tightening it up. Now....I'm no arnie swartzeneger..just a puny accountant....was thinking....wondering if there are torque settings I should know about. Any way after repllcing the snapped bolt with your standard bunnings bolt I thought..I wonder if the original bolt was a high tensile bolt? There are some strange markings on the head of the old bolt which got me thinking....maybe....

As I said ....a very stupid thing to do....lets just call it a 'learning experience'

This was the axle end? Are the strange markings just lines If they are then its hitensile, which that bolt should be.

This site shows the ratings of bolts.
