I wonder if there is a full rebuild kit out there with all the parts in one box so you can just tear the motor down and rebuild entirely to get another 450,000.
Cheers,

Try Banks Engineering in the States Alex, for that full kit

so its been 3 months now and all going sweetly, and for the first time in the 26 years ive owned this amazing vehicle it doesn't leak anything woo hoo
on a secondary note its sad to see the lack of interest now in the XJ's and this web site i guess now that the youngest XJ in now 22 years old its to be expected
we used to have a huge following here and a huge amount of technically experienced posters.
i guess they have all moved on, probably like me there XJ's sits slumbering in the shed, seems i just use mine when i need to tow the trailer, or take the dog for a drive, sad really
just recently i had an old guy comment on what a sweet example my '94 limited is,
pity i guess that's life,

Pretty sad some of the advice given on FB pages
"Have you been ducked recently, because my Percy threw a code just after I was ducked"

Only 3 more years and mine can go on Club Rego, which means that they can be driven 90 days (more if you are clever) per year (30 years old in NSW)
Rego and FULL Insurance is about $250pa on my $10K '69 Jaguar
You have to be a member of an approved Car Club to qualify, they have a membership fee, and some qualifications
I will do this if I get a DD that is a small car that uses less fuel, maybe a used hybrid,
rarely more than one or two folk in my vehicle these days
