I think there is a point where you have to stand up, and choose what you want to drive, half this thread your up and down on what you should do depending on what others recommend or want..

Keep the Tj, and buy somthing that will please the misses.. for the price of a rubicon you could have to cars, plus if the jeep gets damaged on a weekend wheeling, youll have a back up..
Maybe look at getting a nice jeep cheroke for mild 4wd duties, and a compfy car for the misses, maybe even tow the TJ if it gets extreme enough hahaha

if its space thats an issue, try some storage ideas. we use big tubs to separate recovery gear, random shiz and cooking junk. keeps everything neat and compact and easy to reach from the front seats or from the rear.
