Nice cj8 i wouldn't be cutting up that roof looks too good, as for small window yes you do, its that small vent window....imagine large window cut out (on the roof you should have a seam) from either end then it brought forward just sitting behind cabin...so you'll end up with existing roof mated too rear section....there is a bit of work but a good panel worker should graft together and fabricate rear panel with window instead of door.....have i confused you yet.

Timmy is that from round the GC area?
Is it an actual LAREDO?
The grille, wheels, and rocker trim look like it had the up spec trim?
Is there a Laredo badge on the glovebox?
Does it have a pinstripe around the instruments?
2 tone seats, leather grab handle and steering wheel?
Just looks like its missing all the pin stripes!
If so its one of 3 or 4 CJ8 Laredos in the country!
I have one, Wooders has one( I think) there was one for sale @ hammonds a few years back and it was 2 serial numbers away from mine.

well I don't get it till next week, so I can only go by photos at the moment, nah not from the GC....hope these help....any info you can shed on what it is would be great.
