so with 22 million ppl in this country, with an average of 2 cars per person, u wont find a YJ unless u know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone lol
Ah, interesting. Well, here's something you might find interesting, I passed up the opportunity to buy a red 94YJ with hard doors, hard top, AC, 4L/5speed, for $1700USD on wednesday.
(I would have jumped at it for that price, but the thing was pretty nasty, would have required too much cleanup and repair time for me to resell)

4wd1 was importing YJ's for a while. Dropped in there and looked over them at the time and were doing so right up until the TJ arrived. I have seen a YJ even on Carpoint and know of a couple of others too.

MJ: 2.5L FI, or the 2.8 V6 (yuck), then in 87 the renix 4L or 2.5, then in 91 the high output 4L or the newer 2.5 EFI. 1992 last year, only a few sold.

As above Commanches came out with 2.8L V6, 2.5L 4cyl and 4.0L carb, EFI aand whatever was the latest. Even had Diesel ones in the UKEurope I believe.
2wd and 4wd.
Long bed & Short bed
Various trim levels from bare bones to full electrics & leather & cloth interior.

Yup shoulda come out here and the world would now be a different Jeepin place!

Hey Zluster, great thread but can you drop some of the pics to make it a little more low net speed friendly- we get the idea of the lights etc with 1 or 2 pics.
If there was a bikini girl in the pics I could understand....

Never a carbed 4L, and no leather seats. But your right, even in the US there were a few diesels sold as well.

Very few diesels sold, you basically don't count them for anything since you'll never see one.

I've seen alot of things in my life, but I have never seen a factory diesel MJ or XJ.
