Default Newbie for Alaska.

Hi all, my name is Frank. I am up here in Alaska. I just happened to run across this site, while searching for Tj Wrangler information. And let me tell you, there is a ton of great tech on here. Compared to most boards, where you have to wade threw a bunch of junk before you can find what you are looking for.

Right now, I am in the process of building a '98 Jeep Wrangler. Its stock as of right now, but I have the axles completed. Front is a High Pinion Dana 44, ARB, 4:88 gears, alloy axle shafts, and longfield u-joints. The Rear is a Currie Rock Jock Dana 60, ARB, 4:88 gears. Thats as far as I am on the rear right now. Waiting for more fund to continue

I also have a 1973 Cj-5 Jeep that I have built. Here is a picture of it. Again, thanks for excepting me as a member.

Hey Jeff, thanks for the kind words. It has a High Pinion Dana 60 front, that we cut down to be a little more Jeep looking. 35 spline shafts, detroit locker, terra flex drive flanges. The rear is a Dana 60, that we also cut down. It has 35 spline shafts, and a spool. PSC full hydraulic steering, 14" travel coil overs in the front. With a radius arm type suspension that I built. Back is a double triangulated suspension, with 16" coil over shocks. All the link arms are 2" .250" wall tubing, with 1 1/4" hiem joints.

Motor is just a 302 HO, NP435 4 speed, and a Atlas 4.3 to 1. Tires are 47" LTB Super Swampers, on Hummer Beadlocks. Thats about it. Love the Jeep, but kinda upsets me about having to trailer the thing everywhere. So, I am building the Tj to be steet friendly, and to be able to wheel.
