I'm considering the opposite, ARB (yes their available for the D44A)in the rear and a Eaton true trac(helical LSD).

I've heard most people don't bother with installing trac loc's in the WG.

800 from a tank is brilliant

I've got an Eaton E_Locker in the front, and had a Spartan auto locker in the rear. Auto locker is a povvo way. Not too far behind welding the spider gears <----- Don't do that LOL

Just in case you are thinking about it, I don't recommend an auto locker in the rear. Especially if you ever tow. Hill start, corner turns were very clacky, crunchy, bangy I installed it to their specs, and it was great offroad, annoying on sealed surfaces.

Not sure which way I'll go this time foir the rear locker.

Haha, I've been considering an auto locker for the rear.
Dunno about the front, all expensive options.

Sometimes an auto locker will be ok.

If you're daily driving it, you might find it annoying.

Then again, some people don"t even notice it's there

I couldn't help but notice it. There is this one traffic lit intersection that always got me. To turn right at this intersection you have to stop, to give way at least. You're sitting there on the brakes, waiting, it's got a good gradient. You get a gap and go turn right, and the bloody auto locker would engage, it'd try drive the front end straight while you're turning. Back right hand tyre would chirp, bang and carry on.

Best solution ---> Avoid that scenario, especailly towing

I have ARBs front and rear, front likes to leak like crazy every once in awhile but there aren't many options.

Trac loc in rear came as factory option or standard in the states no noise when engaged or tight turns, Offroad works perfect, I had it on my WJ for 6yrs no issues, however the arb in front worked well but air leaks every now and again, easy fix though.

I should have mentioned, mine was the Spartan Auto Locker.

This type is the annoying one. No clutches, ratchets.

Clutch based auto lockers are the way to go for towing and DDing for sure.
