That's the plan, the pan has a drilled & tapped bung in the side for the temp sender unit, I will now have a trans temp gauge totally independent from the Jeeps computer so nothing permanently plugged in to the OBD2 port. Stay tuned for pictures.

The deeper pan comes with an extension for the fluid pickup & filter so I don't have to worry about trans fluid being to low as long as its visible on the dipstick its fine.

Default Transmission temp (NAG1) & Volt gauge

Gauges in & they work (bonus ).
Unlike the WK's where you can bring up the transmission temp on the dash the WH needed a scan gauge or similar connected to the OBD port to read the trans temp, now I know the temp I can check the fluid level accurately.

Clarky, are they the OBD based gauges they normally sell for JK's or traditional mechanical.
