Well sold my Buell after about 3 years to start a new project. Picked up this 87 FXR, good mechanicals but the rest of the bikes quite ratty so will be a strip down and repaint and custom a little
Yeah photos deceiving. Frame needs a strip and repaint back to gloss black. Tank and guards will get hit with satin black and pinstripping. Pipes will go black also. Rims and most chrome needs to be cleaned of surface rust. Will add highway pegs and new front headlight too.
Looks good Jimmy, used to have an 84 Superglide, similar style.
Keep the pics comin, satin black will look cool, also the new ones come satin blue and black now.
