Default 35s and no lift

Hi Guys,

I've seen on a few of the US forums that you can fit 35s under a JK with no lift. Anyone in Oz doing this? Want to fit 35s but keep the centre of gravity low. Also I'll be regearing, what is recommended? I won't be going any bigger than 35s so future mods won't be an issue

Cheers

In terms of gearing I would recommend 4.88 running 35" tyres with Petrol Manual. If you have Petrol Auto 5.13 would also be good option.

If you have Diesel 4.56 running 35" tyres is a good option.

Yes you can fit 35" tyres if you trim your fenders or go with flat fenders. Also it depends on what brand tyre you gona go with. Not all tyres are exactly the same size as advertised.

I am running 35x12.50 and would not recommend any wider than that. You will get rubbing issues considering no lift.

No I am running 17" wheels with 4.5" back spacing. You have to be careful with wheel spacers they are not legal here in oz. if you are planning on running 35" tyres on stock wheels ask Flexy on this forum he is the expert when it comes to tyres and wheels.
