Default 2 Punctures in a week...

I have 2 punctures in a week with my 31" BFG AT's. One was on the weekend when i was doing 120klm on the M1 and the steering was veering sharply to the left. I keep 32psi in my tyres and my right front had 15psi!!!! It's still on the jeep but it's a slow leak - about 2 psi a day.

The second i noticed today when i was leaving work - i heard what sounded like a rock stuck in the tread as i left the carpark so i got out to have a look and there's this dirty big nail in the thread. I checked the psi and yep - 15psi!! I didn't hear that nail when i arrived at work...

Anyway i drove the 25klm home with 15psi and the nail in there - it still drove the same. I had a look when i got home and it's not a nail but a threaded bolt! And it's jammed in there good! I hope some little prick hasn't hammered it in there while i was at work...

I'll get them fixed tomorrow, but has anyone else had similar problems with 4wd tyres? In 6 years of driving i've never had a flat that i had to change...

Anyone else had problems?

Jeeps they dont need to hammer it into your tyre. all they need to do is jam it up against your tyre so that when you drive off it goes straight into the tread.

Maybe your 15psi one was not fitted perfectly?
I have the same tyres and not had one problem, the nail/bolt thing can happen to anyone, you were just unlucky!!
I have done over 65,000km with mine and still have 25,000 left at least (I think/hope) I would probably want new ones to travel again though.
Find the little bugger who may have placed the bolt there and run over his bike!!!! :P :P :P

Just be careful that the dog doesn't get stuck in the tread! I drove my 31 BFG AT's until they had about 3mm of tread left and never had one flat, gave them a fair bit of abuse too. Just unlucky or someone did it on purpose.
