From what I read once the countdown finishes the location and phone number are released on the app and the first 10 to call in get the positions.

No much point trying to figure out where it is in advance. Even if you figure it out or guess, unless you are one of the lucky 10 chosen it won't do you any good anyhow.

If the ad is filmed at the actual remote dealer location, there's no terrain like that anywhere near Kalgoorlie.

I have heard of Kalgoorlie. I have been there. I am sceptical it will be WA. It's a long way to travel for 90% of the population that lives on the other side of the country. Most people couldn't take 8-10 days off work to get it. Nsw outback makes more sense to me. I guess we will have to wait to find out.

Yep, thats exactly what I read too.

So you have to register to be in it to then download the app.

On July 10th the app will advise you the contact phone number and the location/ distance from you.

First ten to ring up and commit are the winners.

These 10 then have to go to their local dealer and pay the $10,000 by close of business on July 11th or they miss out - car then not sold and no next-in-line either.

Then if you do not arrive at the collection location on the day, you get your money back LESS $1000 on road costs that are not refundable - but you don't get the car, and again, no next-in-line so car goes back to a dealers lot somewhere again.

I think there is a next in line, there are 10 successful and another 50 short listed for those who decide not to go ahead with it. Not only do the successful folks have to supply $10k upfront, but they also have to have comprehensive insurance sorted out before they can leave.. Whether this means just having a cover note, or if they need a paid policy I'm not sure.

There are 10 colour options available in the new cherokee, and the winners only get to pick what's left, the first there gets their choice of colour, and so on until the last gets the dregs.
