Default Anyone need a hand winch

As I modify my JK I now have a Magnum Winch Hand Winch for sale, never used and in a protective bag - as new?
Maybe the club could use another winch?

Depends on how you got stuck. If you could not get up/down a slippery slope then a hand winch is not going to be too much help but that depends on how far as you are limited by the length of the wire rope.Same applies if you are stuck on a rock.My suggestion is to pay a decent 4WD trainer to familiarize you with each piece of recovery equipment as they all have their own specific issues and knowledge is the key.My suggestion is to go with one of the most dangerous pieces of recovery equipment,in unskilled hands, which is the hi-lift jack.Very flexible and you can purchase with a wheel lifter and a winching kit. You will still need bow shackles and a bridle and a couple of winch extension straps. Along with the training to give you the skills to know how to use all of this gear safely. But this combination offers a lot more flexibility than a hand winch.
