No matter who i take it to i always provide the oil and pan as well as a ZF instruction sheet on how to change the fluid.
Minimises them not knowing what there doing!

Your such a trusting fella........................ the mob that did mine in Towoomba were very happy with the holes I put in the cross member, made the job easier they said, didn't give me a discount though.

Just got the transmission done.
Strangely when i got my 2013 my 14 done they managed to get only 4.5 litres out, this time on my 2015 they managed to get 5.5 litres out.
Not sure what the difference was, maybe the pan i bought might have been a bit deeper?

I let mine sit for awhile once with pan off and you hear it slowly gurgle as more ran out OR they overfilled it............ to check have fluid between 30-50c, engine running, wheels off ground or well chocked, work thru gears then pull the fill plug off it, fluid should be level with opening... if you do it when shut down it will run out the hole..... wear long sleeve gloves as easy to get bit toasted.

It's all half arsed with these rigs IMO. Only get half the trans fluid out, same deal with cooling system.

I tend to agree with you.
Its like ZF say its not good to do a full flush of the auto so were stuck with only half a change of oil, same with coolant although you can do a full flush if you take the thermostat out (use an old thermostat and take the element out)
Brake fluid is another one, i think to flush the fluid properly you need a program to activate the abs pump ???
All ive done is drain the master cylinder and put new fluid in it thus far!
