It's painful just to open the bonnet after going for a quick drive, that's how much heat they generate. It's remarkable they don't cook themselves! That said, I have noticed the temperature gauge now sits slightly below the usual 12 'o'clock position.

Fuel economy has slightly increased too, with better access for the intake.

I wouldn't know about the economy - mine was delivered with it.

Sorry mate, I've only owned mine for about 2 months, so haven't been paying attention! Glad I'm not the only one with a black AEV. How much lift are you running?
