Thanks i needed the names of the parts because im a newb.

Gonna go mount the front recovery points to the chassis rail then i guess.

Drove it for 15 minutes and upon arriving home found a nice puddle... think its power steering fluid, hoping its just the hoses or connections

Read ALOT about mounting recovery points on XJ's before doing anything.
You may or may not know the XJ doesn't have a chassis in the usual sense.
You need to do it right or you will damage your vehicle the other vehicle or even injure bystanders.

I recommend joining a Jeep Club asap and you'll get good advise/help with developing your truck safely + get to wheel with a great bunch of people...... Mate is all about the wheeling safely, learning and having fun with good mates

i want to join a club but my jeep needs to be up to stratch before i go on any runs

guess i should just go to coffs action jeepers but people here have been much more helpful to be honest.


ah fugg i missed their deadline is there a local meetup in coffs?
