If you mount to that front bar someone recovering you could end out wearing your bar thru their back window........ Use Google or search this site because its been done millions of times before.
For the back if you don't have a towbar, get one and buy a dee shackle receiver hitch from Supa-Crap or ARB or a shop that's close to you

Read ALOT about mounting recovery points on XJ's before doing anything.
You may or may not know the XJ doesn't have a chassis in the usual sense.
You need to do it right or you will damage your vehicle the other vehicle or even injure bystanders.

I recommend joining a Jeep Club asap and you'll get good advise/help with developing your truck safely + get to wheel with a great bunch of people...... Mate is all about the wheeling safely, learning and having fun with good mates
