410 x 4.46 x 2.7 x 4.11 ÷ 4 = 5,073 Nm

Not a big difference at all (just 9%) when people state 4.11 is much better then 3.73 for off-road let alone bitumen.

I'm assuming most people would
not bother going from 3.73 to 4.11's but since the manual has 3.21's there is a fairly big difference to 4.11's. So standard wheel Nm in your calc would give you 3962 with 3.21's

4.56:1 would be more suitable if you go off road IMO

4.11:1 is quite acceptable on road but the lower cruising revs does make things a little sluggish. I actually got slightly better economy with 4.11:1 on 35's but only on calm days, any head wind etc really knocked it around.

With 4.11's and 35's your better than a stock jeep with 3.21's and 32's. If all I did was 4wd in low range then sure 4.56's would be the way to go. But if you do any traveling at highway speed sitting on 2550+ rpm is to high.

When my car was stock on the highway it would basiy sit in 6th up and down hills no problem and that was at 1800rpm so 2200rpm should
be more then fine

Out of all the people who have said 4.11's are not low enough and not enough engine breaking, do you have autos or manuals.

mines auto CRD w/4.11's

engine braking - gone
actual braking - gone

i loved the slow crawl speed in low 1st, was the best thing about it so am prepared to go back to doing 2200+ @110 like it does on the stock 30.5" tyres
