I like that tank....might use that and put a draw on floor instead of tank.

Whitworths don't offer the range but Aquavolt DO!!!! Changed my mind, thanks for the tip!

The XJ just passed her 290K so I took a break off mods today and gave her a full grease and oil and filter change.

I went to Coventry and repco and neither had the Diesel air filter in stock and they said they ordered genuine anyway. My last filter I bought through hammonds so guess I will have to give them a call.

Tomorrow the air bags go in the rear....

Default Airbag rear suspension.

All I can say is go to Gojeeps sight and follow it to the letter! He has the perfect write up.

I have 3 and 3/4 inch lift and the bags I got off Gildo (thanks!!!) were just the right length with the top bracket flipped, as in gojeeps write up here:

http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoAirbagSuspension.htm

The only problem I had was that to mount the top bracket straight above the bottom bracket it was intefered with by the OE bumpstop. But the new bumpstops I installed (also sourced from this site) were not a problem.

So far I have set them up just to manual air up. Later I will add them to the solenoids (covered earlier) in the rear, once I have finished rear cargo storage install. Hopefully this week sometime.

After that:
Auxillary tank
Winch
Intercooler
Hoodvents
rearwheel carrier (twin carrier)
roofrack

and then:
Bigger lift
fender cutouts
bigger wheels/tires
lockers
rock crawling gears.

Oh I forgot. I have to connect my twine heat exchanger....might do that next.

Default Airbag Fittings

The airbags I got were fitted with elbow fittings as per Gojeeps write up. The fitting is pictured below. I found that I had a slow leak in the right hand bag and sourced it to this fitting.

I have a airbagman shop just down the road from me and went down to see what they had available. They had the same fitting but not plastic for $10 a piece! A surprise after buying fittings from ENZED for twice that price.

I would not recommend the plastic fittings (pictured), spend the money and get the good stuff.

By airbagman, do you mean pedders and so on?
I don't have a leak as such but I have trouble getting more than 50-60 psi into the right hand bag. I also had trouble getting the airline into the fitting on this side so have always wondered if that was my trouble.
