Default 3.0 lt injectors do i clean them

My 3.0lt commander has just over 200k on it now and needs some tlc, the fuel consumption is up quite a bit and i have had a couple of other problems.

I just done the drive belt and while i was at it got rid of the turbo resonator, also cleaned the intercooler and all intake pipes.

I replaced the glow plugs and glow plug module which fixed the staring problem and now it doesn't throw codes.

Still need to change the 02 sensor which is throwing codes i have it sitting there just need the time, and i have to order a new MAF hoping that will fix my fuel consumption.

The only other thing i can think of is injectors with 200k on them should i just put some injector cleaner in the tank, have them cleaned professionally or have them reconditioned.

At those klms I would definitely run a tank full of quality injector cleaner. EG the Nulon product is good, ,it works. If dollars are not tight remove the injectors get them flow tested, cleaned etc This usually will make a noticeable difference.

I regularly use injector cleaner, normally each tank fill, have used Nulon and it is good, however around 8 months ago I went over to Cost Effective Maintenance products and am using their CRD Fuel Enhancer, Ratio is 10ml to 80 litres.

I use their FTC Decarbonizer once a month,it deglazes and decokes. When I first used it I put in a double dose for the first 20hrs of running.

I add their AW10 Antiwear to the engine oil, 20ml per litre.

Cool i think i might get a price on getting them flow tested and cleaned.

Are they hard to remove i haven't even looked at them to see if they are hard to get at.

Be careful with the injectors they are super expensive literally I have been worried about mine
I have 300,000 k,s but they are in top condition I did have to replace the seals on them as it was making a popping noise and it was the injector seals
I was lucky they came straight out Paul said they sometimes carbon up around the leaking seal and getting them out can destroy them
I have been running TC-W3 in the fuel since owning it and my injectors where perfect when he pulled them to do the seals

Ok, i think i might leave this one to the pros, i have't ever run any additives in the fuel, but i always use vortex diesel as i notice a fair difference.

When i get a chance i will take it in and get a quote, i have one on the passenger side that does seem slightly louder.
