You can buy the Bosch one or the Ormon? Ones from Supercheap pretty cheap. A step above the key trick, and certainly enough for most cases.

To be honest, if you need anything more than them you’re probably going to need the professional kit and that is big $.

I recently has similar issues. It turned out to be the transfer case sensor at fault. I was trying all sorts of things.

The software from jeepswj.com will at least give you the code numbers, which is a big clue to resolving it.
