Question Fuel Injector, hub cap...

G'Day,
Do you guys know where here in Perth i could get my fuel injectors cleaned?
My 4.0L runs really rough when i switch to petrol, but sweet in lpg....
Sometimes in the morning's it even gets bad flat spots in the petrol mode, which is fairly dangerous, especially coming out onto a bussy T junction...
An advert in the jeep action magazine states that there is a really good place in vic that does it, but my xj is my daily drive, so i can't really afford to send of my fuel injectors for a couple of days..

Also today i noticed that I lost one of original jeep hup caps.
Any ideas where i could find a cheap replacement one?

Cheers
Tomas

if it has a flat spot when turning its the fuel pump! most xjs have the same problem with the fuel pump and going around corners is usually the only time it happens. i drive my xj daily and i have the same problem. i aint fussed tho.

Hmmmm.... Although the fuel pump on my XJ is also fairly doggy, this is in a straight line... where when i step on the accelerator hard, the car actually slows down, and the engine backfires and starts coffin....
And if the LPG tank is empty, I'll have to pump the accelerator to get it up to speed....

Yeah, thats how mine started of about a year and a half ago.....
Up until recently i blamed the fuel pump also, but now, dirty fuel injectors make more sense...
By the sound of it, you might need your fuel injectors cleaned also.

To clean your injectors, just first try running a full bottle of Nulon branded injector cleaner in a 1/2 a tank. I just did this last week as had an injector clogged after i got back from South America and the Jeep sitting for 2 months. Cleaned it up straight away and now have a smooth idle too.
