Hi Dave,
I've been holding off posting until I have some idea of where it's at.
Last time I heard from Mark H. it was getting the body fixed up - removal of surface rust, including round the windscreen, de-chroming the hinges, fitting front TJ flares (from Jumbo - that remind me I still owe him the $). Then it's back to Suburban for a few bits and pieces plus a trip to get the new exhaust.
Estimated completion is mid August, but I'm stuck in Melbourne until end of the year and they've requested we work 6 days a week until end of Sept. The IT project I've been on for the last 18 months goes live the weekend before Jambo so that may be the maiden voyage.

you should fly up one Sat Night and drive her back to mexico on Sunday and then go play with the Melb Jeep Club boys on Sundays get some track time before the Jambo

But what about all the nasty Melbourne mud - I'll have to clean it for the Jambo Show & Shine!!!

I'll probably get it down to Melbourne pretty much straight away and try and catch up with the Mexican jeepers. On one of the old BBs there was a thread about a convoy from Melb via ACT for the Jambo so I'll have to resuurect this idea.
