it wouldn't be a jeep if it went independent... which means it'd be like every other shitbox four wheel drive that kicks up a wheel over an ant hill...

Pretty much the last of the true off road cars available regardless of their on road manners. Turning the Wrangler into a soft roader makes no sense at all and it would be good marketing to just improve the thing wouldn't it?

i think the wrangler and the 70 series toyota are about the only real fourbies left. 70 series starts at about 70 grand on road though, with no centre diff lock or air con. very very basic. also 5 speed box.

IF and I mean "IF" this does happen, I will buy the last model live axel and repower if I have too when Ks go up

im sure someone would come out with a solid axle conversion soon enough, no matter how much money or problems it came with.
The funny part is people with TJs bitching about JKs and Jks bitching about the chance that in a few years there could possibly maybe be a new wrangler with IFS in the font if not rear also. But even if it doesnt have IFS im sure there will be enough complaining about something on a new model to make up for it.

haha not all people with TJ's bitch about jk's... i definitely don't i wouldn't trade my TJ for a JK if you payed mee... lol
and not everyone bitches just the majority of us!
