Filled it up last night & the new crossover pipe did the trick. No splashback even when the pump ran flat out to the fist click. It was also much faster to fill due to not slowing down for the last 10 litres and not having multiple cutoffs. Just the one & it was already almost completely full.
A solid win there!
Old and new pipes

I bought myself a plasterboard carrier to help take the doors off.

Sold my jk on friday. Had almost no interest through carsales after a month. A little surprising but I guess a 10 year old jk isn't desirable. Sold it to a car buying company. A little less than I wanted but after 4 years of relatively trouble free motoring I can't complain.
I was going to get a JKU (need 4 doors for baby on the way) but they didn't really inspire me. I couldn't really justify a decent suspension kit and I am a bit sick of how a jk rides stock.
I will seriously consider a JL in a year or two.

Ok, so it was two weeks ago now, but who’s counting... swapped out the stock tyres and wheels for 285/70r17 Cooper ST Maxx on Fuel Beast 17”x9” rims (4.5” backspacing).
Wheels stick out beyond the stock flares a bit, but not enough to worry me too much. I’ll install a set of TeraFlex removable mud flaps which should keep the boys in blue happy.

So far my holidays has involved doing up the house. I finally got to do something I wanted to do today.
I changed the rear rotors for some DBA T2 series slotted ones and put in a set of Hawk Performance pads as well as adjusting the handbrake. I'm impressed with how it feels so now I can't wait to do the front ones.
